In order to address the needs and aspirations of the most depressive and vulnerable children in the 6 Districts of Tamilnadu, India such as Ramnad, Sivagangai, Virudhunagar, Thirunelveli, Theni and Dindigul, NANBAN is instrumental to bring out considerable positive change in the process of preventing child runaways by networking with likeminded NGOs, Teachers and students of schools, women groups and government departments.
 
This networking initiatives are intended
  • To build Social Networks in the districts of Tamilnadu among Adults – Men, Women, Youth and Teachers – who play various roles in the growth of Children
  • To build the Capacities of Staff and Volunteer Trainers to enable them to contribute effectively to the positive growth of distressed children in the districts of Tamilnadu.
  • To build the Capacities of the distressed children in the district of Tamilnadu to enable them to discover their inherent potential for positive growth and propel them towards self-esteem and self-actualization.
  • To mobilize resources and resourceful individuals and organizations towards Advocating and Lobbying for the distressed children in the districts of Tamilnadu through appropriate fora enabling their voices to be heard and issues solved.
