| Professional training to Nanban personnel |
| Members of the Nanban staff are recruited after a careful scrutiny of their character and commitment to public service. We now have a team of experienced personnel well-versed in their respective fields as Street Educators, Social workers, Animators, Counselors, Care-givers, Community-mobilizes, etc... including the trainers at our Vocational Training Units. Any new recruits are put through their phases during probation periods before they receive confirmation of appointment. Nanban is one of the first among the NGO's in India to have introduced terminal benefit schemes to be established for members of staff. Regular workshops, seminars, panel meetings and training schedules are held for them to update their skills and to effectively interact at the community levels. We acknowledge here with gratitude, the services being rendered by overseas volunteers in training members of staff of Nanban and by other qualified trainers belonging to the fellow NGOs in Tamilnadu, India. |
